Movie Industry: S3x With Producer, Director For Film Role's By Choice, Not Force, Joy Tambou Slams Critics

Curvy Nollywood actress and producer, Joy Tambou, has explained that having s3x with a film producer or director was free, and by choice (consentual). In a recent interaction with the media, Tambou expressed her opinion on the s3x stories involving Nollywood practitioners, saying, “S3x is free. If you want to give, you give.  "S3x is not by force, if you are saying that some people are looking for s3x, Nollywood producers are looking for s3x? Bayern Munich Pick 20 Nigerian Footballers For Professional Training In Europe

Bayern Munich Youths scouting programme in Nigeria has selected more than 20 youths in training, to become professional footballers. The programme has been in existence since 2015. The Nigerian Director of the Bayern Munich Youth Cup, Victor Edeh, on Sunday, advised the players to see their selection as the beginning of a new journey in their career. Suspended Adamawa REC Opens Up On Binani Declaration .Says APC Won April 15 Supplementary Election

The suspended Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) for Adamawa State, Hudu Yunusa Ari, a lawyer, has explained that he announced results of 69 polling units in the April 15 supplementary election due to security pressure. Ari stated this in a letter to the Inspector General of Police explaining his part in the controversial April 16 announcement of the governorship election, which put the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Aishatu Ahmed (Binani) as winner against the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate and Governor of the state, Ahmadu Fintiri. NDLEA Raids Factory Supplying Drugs To Cameroon, Chad, Niger .Intercepts Drugs Hidden In Imported Car At Lagos Seaport

The operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have raided a clandestine factory in the Mubi area of Adamawa State where a new psychoactive substance, Akuskura, was being produced in large quantity and distributed to Chad, Cameroon, and Niger Republic. The NDLEA Director, Media and Advocacy¸ Femi Babafemi made the disclosure via a statement issued and made available to The Star on Sunday, April 30. NDLEA Seizes Drugs Hidden In Box-Laden With Food Items At Lagos Airport (see video)

  The operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have foiled an attempt by a freight agent, Mordi Chukwuemeka Samuel, to export 900 grams of Canadian Loud, hidden inside walls of a travelling bag containing food items, to Kenya at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja, Lagos State. The NDLEA spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, made the disclosure in a statement in Abuja on Sunday, April 30. Babafemi said the Canadian Loud was seized by NDLEA officers at the SAHCO export shed of the Lagos airport, on Saturday, April 29. He said when Mordi presented the bag, which the suspect claimed contained food items for export, the anti-narcotic officers noticed that in the course of searching the consignment, the side walls of the bag were unevenly bloated, after which they dismantled the false packings and recovered the illicit substance. A singer, Lekan Ibikunle, aka Kyla Cole, has said that his song, ‘Shaku Shaku Chinese’, which has gone viral on social media, especially Tik Tok, actually started as a freestyle. He said, “It was just a freestyle in the studio, and I was in the mood to do music. I had wanted to do something unique, iconic and different because I believed that is what would make my sound stand out, since mostly everyone have the same sound in the Nigerian music industry. Shaku Shaku is a street slang, as well as a dance step.” Describing the wide acceptance of the song as ‘a dream come true’, the singer said, “It felt like a dream when the single went viral on TikTok. FG Makes U-Turn, Approves Eagle Square For May Day Parade

The Federal Government has made a 360-degree turn, and approved the use of Eagle Square for the annual May Day parade for workers in the Nigeria's Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja. The Director of Press and Public Relations, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Mr. Olajide Oshundun, said this in a statement on Saturday evening in Abuja. The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) had said that the Federal Government refused their request to use the venue for the Workers' Day celebration. SERAP Sues INEC Over Failure To Probe Govs For 2023 Election Violence

Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has filed a lawsuit against the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) over the failure to investigate allegations of electoral violence. The group is also suing INEC over its blatant refusal to probe other electoral offences allegedly committed by some state governors and their deputies during the 2023 elections. Recall that after the completion of the general elections, there were pockets of violence in some states across the country. Deputy Director at SERAP,  Kolawole Oluwadare, in a statement on Sunday, April 30, said the group has filed a suit against INEC. Kolawole Oluwadare, Andrew Nwankwo and Blessing Ogwuche, lawyers to SERAP explained that electoral violence is a threat to democracy therefore perpetrators must not go unpunished.
