Ajuri Ngelale Replaces Dele Alake As Tinubu’s Spokesman

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Chief Ajuri Ngelale as Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.

The appointment takes effect from 31st July, 2023 and would terminate at the end of this administration unless otherwise decided by the President.

“The President urges him to bring his wealth of experience to bear on the new assignment,” Willie Bassey, Director of Information, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, stated in a statement made available to The Star on Monday.

Ngelale is replacing Mr Dele Alake who has been nominated as a minister.

Alake, special adviser on strategy and special duties, was stand in official until the appointment. 

The new special adviser served Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Public Affairs.

He was the assistant principal spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC)  Presidential Campaign Council for the 2023 elections. 

Ngelale is a Broadcast journalist.

He also served in media directorate of the APC presidential campaign council.

He is a son of former Minister of State for Water Resources, Chief Precious Ngelale.

He graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Political Science and History.

Before he ventured into public service, he had worked with AIT and Channels TV.

He hails from Eleme in Ogoni, Rivers State.

FG RESTATES COMMITMENT TO EARLY COMPLETION OF ENUGU–PH EXPRESSWAY

The Federal Government has reaffirmed its commitment to the timely completion of the Section Three of the 61-kilometer Enugu–Port Harcourt Expressway in Enugu State.
