Yahoo Boy Confesses Killing His Mother, Sleeping With Her Corpse For Money Ritual

An 18-year-old Internet fraudster, fondly called Yahoo boy, Kingsley Akpobome Emobor, has disclosed that he killed his mother and slept with her corpse for two days for the purpose of a money ritual.

It was gathered that Emobor, who hails from Oghara in Delta State, carried out the act at their rented apartment in Ologbo community in the Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area of Edo State.

It was learned that Emobor’s cousin, who noticed the absence of the Yahoo boy’s mother for about three days, decided to search the house for her aunty where he met her lying dead in one of the rooms in their apartment.

The young man was said to have drawn the attention of their neighbours who descended on the Yahoo boy before he was taken away by the police officers who stormed the scene of the incident.

However, Emobor, while speaking to journalists when he was paraded at the Edo State Police Command headquarters, on Monday, said he was pushed to carry out the act by a ritualist who sells drugs in the community.

“I wanted to use my mother for ritual. I am 18 years old. My father died long ago. It was one man called ‘One Love’ that told me to use my mother for money ritual.

“He promised to give me N50,000 if I can kill my mother and also sleep with her then take out her private part. He said I should cut my mother’s ear alongside her private part and bring it for ritual purposes,” the Yahoo boy disclosed.
